Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to raise staff. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
