By combining modern technology, high performance and stability, Caterpillar Container handlers are the optimum alternative for unloading and loading full containers. Container Handlers range from 24 tons to 43 tons. Options comprise high-mounted cabin in the middle or low-mounted cabin at the front for the excellent handling and visibility.

Rough Terrain Forklift
The rough terrain forklift is best for applications at construction sites and other environments where there is no paved surface. This particular kind of forklift is utilized to shuttle materials around lumberyards.

These forklifts are meant for rough terrain. However, the equipment is top heavy and needs to be carefully handled in rough areas. The equipment must be level with all tires on the ground when lifting.

Steering is more difficult at higher speeds. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration does not set speed limits on forklifts. Nonetheless, drivers are responsible for operating forklifts at a safe speed, specially when turning and driving on rough terrain.

To avoid a tip over, do not lift a load while operating on an incline. The load should be on the machine's uphill drive if driving up a slope. When driving down an incline, it is good safety practice to back down.
